Present Perfect
Es una accion que comienza en el pasado y que continua en el presente, o sus resultados, o que no te dicen cuando.
PRESENT PERFECT (ES UN PASADO)
Estructura:
Afirmativa: Sujeto + have /has + participio (regular +ed// irregular = tercera columna)
Negativa: Sujeto + haven’t(have not)/hasn’t (has not) + participio
Interrogativa: have /has + sujeto + participio?
Ejemplo:
- I have written a book. > I haven’t written a book > Have you written a book?
- Alice has written a book > Alice hasn’t written a book > Has Alice written a book?
Usos:
- Acción pasada que NO digo cuándo = Presente perfecto.
Ej: I have read this book. (Yo he leído este libro) = No me dice cuando
I read this book last year = dicen “cuando” = Pasado simple.
- Acción reciente. (this morning, just (acabar de))
EJ: I have just finished eating.
I ate an hour ago.
- Acciones cuyos resultados aún se perciben
EJ: I have broken my leg (la pierna aún está rota o se está curando)
I broke my leg but I can walk perfectly. (la pierna ya está curada)
- Acciones que comenzaron en el pasado pero que continúan en el presente.
Ej: I have lived here since I was born. (desde que…)
I lived here two years ago. (Viví aquí hace… ) ( ya no)
I was living here when my first child born. (contexto temporal)
I had lived here much before you were born.
Adverbios:
Just (acabar de); already (ya) (afirmativa); still (aún) (afirmativa); ever (alguna vez); never (nunca) (no negativa) = delante del verbo principal (participio)
Yet (aun, todavía, ya) (negativa e interrogativa) = al final de la frase
I have just/already got home.
I haven’t finished yet.

Ejercicios.
1.- He estudiado en este colegio desde que tengo 10 años.
I have studied in this school since I was 10 (years old).
= P. perfecto = acción que comenzó en el pasado y continua en presente.
2.- ¿Alguna vez has visto esta película?
Have you ever watched this film?
= P. perfecto = Importante es la acción y “cuando”
3.- Estudiamos esta lección hace dos meses.
We studied this lesson two months ago.
= pasado simple = nos dicen “cuando”
4.- Mi padre está arreglando la moto porque mi hermano la ha roto.
My father is fixing the moto because my brother has broken it
= presente perfecto = aún se perciben las consecuencias.
5.- Yo estaba estudiando inglés y a María se le fue la línea.
I was studying English when María got off online.
Was studying = pasado continuo = contexto temporal.
Got off = “cuando” (was studying)
6- Alice ha llamado porque necesita ayuda.
Alice has called because she needs help.
Presente perfecto = No dicen cuándo.
Alice called this morning because she needs help.
When did Alice call?
7.- Me leí este libro varias veces.
I have read this book several times.
Presente perfecto = no digo “cuando”
